Born in Lebanon, raised in between KSA & UAE & Lebanon. Currently based in the UAE, works worldwide.

In 2002 Mia was the head of the casting department in one of the most renown production companies in the Middle East. In 2008 she launched her freelance career, which gave her the opportunity to work with worldwide producers, directors, advertising and production companies. Discovering new talents is a simple matter for her, making her selections & the projects she partakes in stand out, many of which won or were nominated for Awards. She has cast for countless TV commercials, TV shows, music videos, web-series, feature films, short films and international student films, collaborating with local and international crews, productions & photographers. She is also a casting producer who can manage a team with time, quality & budget efficiency.

Overview

In the late 90’s Mia Daibess hosted a TV show on youngsters in the Middle East, especially Lebanon, telling of stories, events, films and music. She majored in Performing Arts ranging from acting, dancing, performing, biomecanics, voice acting & actor coaching, scenography and flow arts in 2002, and completed the Master classes in Playwright & Stage Directing. Her performing arts studies & background & experience in the field are an asset in her line of work. Mia is invited for the third year in a row to the D&AD family, as a judge in the Casting category, along with several elite casting directors around the world.
